Itty Bitty Playground

Here are some cute photos from last week when Vince and I took Johanna to the Itty Bitty Indoor Playground. She sure loves it there. Her favorite thing to do was open and shut over and over again the door to the fisher price playhouse. She did it like 50 times. She also liked the moon bounce and being pushed in a little car.

Visit to Santa

We took Johanna to Crown Center on Thursday to meet Santa. They have the Crayola Christmas playground complete with a Santa visit . Johanna had a blast playing on the Crayola playground, but .... she wasn't too excited about Santa. Actually, she was pretty much terrified.

New Camera and New Photos!

I was able to buy an awesome new camera for my Christmas present - actually, it is my Christmas, birthday and next year's Christmas present, but it is so worth it! Here are a few of the first photos I took.

Four Generations of Fun!

We had an awesome weekend! My Mom, Grandma Agnes and Godmother Aunt Anna came up to Kansas City for a girl's weekend.

We had delicious food and even celebrated Emily's 25th birthday with my cousin Jessica, along with all our other visitors. Lots of Nietfeld women in tow. Poor Vince, he was the only guy in a house full of seven women.

On Saturday we went to the Toy and Miniature Museum, located three blocks from our house. Johanna even went with me, Mom, Grandma and Annie. It was a really cool museum - way bigger than I had ever dreamed and stocked full of antique toys, dollhouses, even Barbie Dolls! We were there for an hour and a half and didn't even get to see everything. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Kansas City area.

Kujoe had a good time on Sunday, too! We found out when we came home from Mass that he had jumped up onto the dining room table and scarfed down half of Emily's leftover birthday cake!!! What a bad dog. He also scratched up our table. He ate the rest of a pumpkin pie at my parent's house over Thanksgiving and also dug a turkey carcass out of the trash at Vince's folks. He gets really ornery around the holidays!

12 to 13 month Video

Christmas Tree!

Johanna saw our Christmas Tree for the 1st time the other night. She loved it! I didn't put one up last year because I was too tired from having a 6 week old.

However, the tree looks beautiful in our new home!

I told her to give the tree "soft pets" so she wouldn't rip it apart. She then went over to Kujoe to give him some soft pets. Such a smartie!

Cake Smash

Birthday Party Extravaganza!

We had a super fun weekend and an awesome first birthday party!!! Grandma and Granpa Pientka and Carney came up for lunch on Saturday, stayed the night and helped us party the whole weekend through. Auntie Em was hanging out Saturday and Sunday, too and Aunt Rachel and Uncle Andy even joined us for some delicious birthday cake and a photo shoot on Sunday.

Johanna had a blast - she definitely LOVES cake and she has been playing non-stop with her new toys.

Thanks so EVERYONE who made the weekend so special. Our family is so blessed with such a wonderful family who helped me out so much with great food, good laughs and excellend birthday girl snuggles and lovin'!

We missed having Tony and Fr. Larry at the party but we hope to see them VERY soon! We also were so happy our families could get the house tour and see the house before we do some major work on it. It was nice to have so much more room and we even were able to fit everyone around the dining room table!

Happy Halloween! Buzz Buzz.

Johanna had a fabulous Halloween. It is *technically* her second halloween, but her first year dressing up. I made her a little bumblebee costume. She looked so cute and got to go trick or treating at a few hours with her Mom, Dad, two Grandmas and Aunt Emily. The Grandpas stayed home, drank a few beers and manned the doors. We didnt' get ANY trick or treaters because our porch light was out. I bought tons of candy because I had heard that Brookside gets a lot of trick or treaters but we only saw a handful of kids walking around. So sad because I LOVE trick or treaters.

Anyway, here is that little Bumblebee Cutie!
