We went to the pumpkin patch last Friday and had some good times! We LOVE this weather and have been enjoying lots of fun times outside. Long live Fall!

Two Weeks!
Here are some pictures for Carolyn's Two Week photo shoot we did on a quick whim. She is doing great! At her checkup she weighed 8 lbs. 15 oz. and is a really great baby. She is starting to sleep a little bit better, as long as we can keep her up and active during the day.
She loves to be held and started smiling a few days ago - I've only seen a few smiles but when she lets them fly it melts my heart!
Johanna continues to be a great big sister and is adjusting pretty well. Sometimes I can't tell if some of her defiant behavior is because of her new sister or maybe just her age. I have to keep reminding myself that she is only two - even though she seems two going on eight!
Today was my last day of reinforcements. Kathie was here early in the week and my mom just left today after an extended weekend. Dad even came to help last week! We have been so blessed with all the help from our family (Emily included - what a lifesaver) and I am sad the visits are over. Hopefully we will slowly get into a routine we can all live with and be happy with. Some days will be better than others being at home all day with a newborn and willful preschooler, but I think we will have a grand ole time.
I love my girls!
