Happy St. Patrick's Day from an Irish Miss

Happy St. Patrick's Day - Johanna celebrated at day care by showing off her beautiful green dress that mommy has been waiting over a year for Miss Baby to wear. Doesn't she look so cute?

We had a photo shoot and the whole time Johanna had to have something in her hand. Most of the time it also had to be in her mouth. She is so high energy! Play a game and count all of the different objects she found in a short 15 minute period of time.

Spring Break Fun!

It is my spring break and the weather is FINALLY getting nicer. Johanna and I had so much fun playing outside in the front yard today - then we went on a nice walk to a nearby park that we have never been to. Great way to kick off the week!

Just Some Funny Playtime Pictures

I was trying to get her to cook along with Mommy while I made dinner - she is starting to like playing kitchen. Not quite there yet. She did really love all the boxes we got from Aldi's. I made a little box village and named it "Johanna's Berg." Ha ha, get it?

Things are progressing nicely in Johanna's room - we have almost painted everything, except the doors, and I just put up some window sheers that I sewed.

Happy Belated Valentine's Day

Johanna had a Valentine's Photo Shoot but I didn't get the pictures printed out and sent in time - however, they will be on their way because they turned out so cute. Johanna wanted to wish everyone a very happy Valentine's Day - even though I am a little late to post her wishes.

She has been being as cute as ever - she did have an ear infection earlier this week and has been on her first dose of antibiotics. She is doing much better.

She knows how to say "bubbles" now - it must be from all those bubbles that her daddy, and Grandma and Grandpa Carney have blown for her. She also loves to sing "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and give kisses - "MMMWAH!"

I hope to get some new video of her today if I can find some batteries. She needs to send a video update to all her admirerers!

Hope everyone is doing well - Johanna is feeling much better, not coughing as much and her ear seems to be on the mend. Have a great weekend!

Snow Bunny

Last Friday was the perfect day for Johanna to play in the snow - it wasn't bitterly cold and there was no wind. She really loved walking around the sidewalks and even ventured out into the snow covered yard. She didn't want to come in and I had to take her back out after she started crying the first time we came inside. The only bad thing is that I was unaware she was getting sick and later that night she was running a fever. She ran a fever ranging from 101 to 103 all weekend but today is on the mend. Even though this baby was so feverish this weekend, she still wanted to play, eat, and drink so we weren't too worried. I even got out a sled we found after the last snow storm and pushed her around our yard. She loved it! Next year we will start her on a hill up the street that is more suited for little ones - "Suicide Hill" across the street is pretty hard core, hence the name.
